FARMINGTON – Franklin Savings Bank Senior Vice President Judith Greco has announced Deidre LaPlant’s promotion to assistant vice president, Customer Service.
She has been with the Customer Service Department at Franklin Savings’ main office in Farmington for 15 years, where she started as a teller.
“Customer service is very rewarding. If someone has a problem with something, they come to us and we do our best to help them solve it,” said LaPlant.
LaPlant is working toward her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in banking at St. Joseph’s College in Standish, where she is a senior. LaPlant has earned banking-related diplomas and certificates in general banking, bank operations, consumer lending and commercial lending, and supervision from the Northern New England Center for Financial Training. She is a graduate of Mount Blue High School.
LaPlant is involved in numerous community activities, in particular the Maine Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk in Farmington each fall.
LaPlant and her husband, Dave, live in New Sharon.
