School open house

FARMINGTON — Mt. Blue High School will hold an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2. Teachers and staff members will be on hand to meet parents.

Yearbooks may be purchased for $45. This is the only time they will be available for that price. A table will be set up in the lobby for purchases during the open house.

Monthly luncheon

FARMINGTON — Old South First Congregational Church will serve its monthly free community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12. The menu will include roast chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, assorted bars and cookies.

Delivery service will be available in the Farmington area. To have a meal delivered, call the church office at 778-0424 during the week or the church kitchen at 778-4438 on the morning of the luncheon.
