SCARBOROUGH (AP) – And they’re off.

Maine’s harness racing season resumed Friday with the first live races of the year at Scarborough Downs race track.

For now, live races are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Thursday afternoon races will begin on April 23. The season runs through Dec. 27.

Live harness racing is scheduled to resume Friday at the Bangor Raceway.
