MEXICO — The following incidents were handled recently by the Mexico Police Department.

Vandalism

A Mexico Avenue resident reported at 8:40 p.m. Aug. 19 that several juveniles were seen destroying a portion of the porch on a nearby vacant house. The matter is under investigation.

An Osgood Avenue resident reported at 6:09 a.m. Aug. 16 that someone had smashed the front windshield of her car parked in front of her house and causing $400 damage. Police have a suspect.

Theft

A Roxbury Road resident reported at 1:13 p.m. Aug. 17 that someone had taken a double stroller from her porch, valued at $200, and about $20 in cash from her unlocked vehicle. The thefts are believed to have taken place sometime during the previous week.
