WISCASSET, Maine (AP) – Authorities on Friday identified the two victims, both teenagers, who died in a fiery crash on the Old Bath Road.

The state medical examiner’s office said the bodies, which were burned beyond recognition, were those of Cameron Haggett, 16, of Wiscasset, who was the driver, and Sara Leone, 15, of Edgecomb, the lone passenger.

The two were killed Wednesday night when the SUV they were riding in crashed and caught fire. Investigators said excessive speed was a factor.
