MILO (AP) – Maine game wardens on Sunday were investigating the drowning of a 48-year-old woman following a boat collision in Milo the previous night.

The victim was identified as Shirley Carrier, but her hometown was not immediately available. Wardens were also investigating details of the boating accident, which happened at about 8:30 p.m. on the Sebec River.

An autopsy was expected to be performed Sunday.
