NORTH BERWICK (AP) – Police declined Tuesday to release further details of a girl’s death while riding a horse.

The girl, identified only as a 10-year-old, was killed Sunday afternoon on Fox Farm Hill Road, said North Berwick Police Chief Randy Jones. The accident happened shortly after 1 p.m.; Jones declined to release details.

The incident remained under investigation Tuesday, a police spokeswoman said.
