FARMINGTON – Police are investigating the theft of 75 bags of wood pellets – about a ton and a half – from a rental unit at 430 Farmington Falls Road, officer Matthew Hunt said.

Sometime between Dec. 23 and Feb. 6, someone took the pellets valued at $100 to $150, Hunt said.

There is a shared basement between two units, he said, but he declined to give more information, including the name of the owner of the rental units, because the case is under investigation.
