The dedication of a granite bench installed in honor of late Farmington Board of Selectmen Chairwoman Mary Wright will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Walton’s Mill Pond Park in West Farmington. A rain date is set Thursday, July 24. Selectmen and Town Manager Richard Davis pitched in personal money to buy the bench and had it put in the park on a granite slab from Wright’s home. The park and dam were one of Wright’s special projects.
