RANGELEY – Voters approved a $2.8 million school budget by 12 votes during an all-day referendum Monday.

The vote was 63-51, Town Clerk Laura Haley said .

Budget figures were established at an earlier public meeting vote.

Voters were asked to validate that action with a yes or no answer Monday.

The school budget is up 2.5 percent, or $73,000, over this year.
