WILTON – Two people were injured Friday morning after a car drove through a stop sign on McCrillis Corner Road and collided with another car heading north on Route 133 toward Farmington.

Both drivers, Graham Taber, 20, of Farmington and Tracey Doiron, 39, of Jay, were taken by ambulances to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, Wilton officer Blaine Rackliff said.

Taber, who was heading east on McCrillis Corner Road, told police that he was not familiar with the area and didn’t realize there was an intersection, Rackliff said.

Speed is a factor in the accident, the officer said.
