LIVERMORE – Voters are being asked to consider adopting a dangerous dog ordinance Wednesday.

The town meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 24 at Brettuns Community Building and will be moderated by resident Clint Boothby.

The proposed ordinance is stricter than the state’s laws, setting out conditions that the owner of a court-declared dangerous dog needs $300,000 liability insurance to keep it, cannot transfer the animal and must provide the locations of secure enclosures for it.
