LIVERMORE FALLS – Police stopped a man driving a vehicle on Route 4, who they knew didn’t have a driver’s license, and found morphine and hypodermic needles, Livermore Falls Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Tuesday.
Christopher Elliott, 28, of Livermore Falls was stopped by police Friday morning and arrested on charges of violation of condition of release and operating after suspension, Steward said.
Elliott was also summoned on charges of possession of Schedule W drug and use and/or sale of drug paraphernalia.
Police found morphine, hypodermic needles and other related items in the vehicle, Steward said.
Elliott was still at the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn on Tuesday being held on a probation hold, a jail worker said.
