New meeting day
LIVERMORE FALLS — Starting Sept. 23 at 7 p.m., New Norland Grange 580 will meet the fourth Wednesday of the month, a change from the fourth Saturday of the month, to enable more members to attend. The Grange is looking for ideas to help the Grange take its place once again as a viable part of the community and ideas for lectures and entertainment. Location change
EAST WILTON — The Western Maine Community Action Service Center, Routes 2 and 4, will be closed to the public on Friday, Sept. 18. The Service Center will move to 20B Church St. and will open at the new location on Monday, Sept. 21.
DAR meeting
RANGELEY — The Colonial Daughters DAR Chapter of Farmington will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22. at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 2614 Main St. Lunch will be served at noon and the program will begin at 1 p.m. The program will be “Women in the Outdoors,” by Don Palmer, president of the Rangeley Lakes Region Historical Society. The public is invited to attend.
