LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday for Irene Bastien Cormier at Holy Family Church after prayers at The Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Daniels officiated assisted by Bro. Irenee Richard O.P. Bro. Richard recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. A large delegation from the Lewiston Water Department and Lewiston Public Works were on Deer Road when Mrs. Cormier’s procession made it’s way to St. Peter’s Cemetery. Burial was held at Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gerry, Ronald, Rick and Kenneth Bastien, Norman Langlais, Gerry Bastien III and Paul Boulanger.
