LEWISTON — The Lewiston Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, in the Multi-Purpose Center Gym. The speaker will be Lynda Nyland from New England Emergency Response Systems. She will speak on fitness for seniors. Members will play Pass the Buck following the meeting.

On Wednesday, Oct. 28, the group will sponsor a card party, open to the public, from 1 to 4 p.m., in the Seniors Activity Room of the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St. Refreshments and prizes will be available. There will be a $3 donation.

On Monday, Nov. 2, members will meet at noon. Reservations for the hot turkey lunch must be made by Thursday, Oct. 22. Tickets may be purchased in the Lewiston Senior Citizens Office.

There are openings for Best of Times New Year’s celebration, which will take place from Wednesday, Dec. 30 to Friday, Jan. 1. Included will be six shows and six themed meals. If interested in attending, call the Lewiston Senior Citizens office.
