RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy Roy was celebrated Wednesday at St. Athanasius-St. John Catholic Church Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Alfred Jacques was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “The Lord’s Prayer” sung by Tammy and Jay Roy, “Because the Lord is My Shepherd,” “Ave Maria,” “Amazing Grace” and “Fly Like a Bird.” Readings were done by sister-in-law, Barbara Doherty, and daughter, Wendy Skaff. The eulogies were given by granddaughters, Kristi Dugas and Chelsea Skaff. Pallbearers were Michael Dugas, Kristi Dugas, Chelsea Skaff and Jacob Skaff. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed in the parish hall. Relatives and friends may pay tribute to Dorothy at www.mem.com. Services were under the care of SG Thibault Funeral Home.
