SOUTH PARIS – Charlotte Nancy Waite, 90, of Paris Hill, died Tuesday, March 10, at Market Square Health Care Center.

She was born to Walter Clark and Grace Cotton on April 28, 1918, in Rome. She was raised in Mechanic Falls. She became a registered nurse as a proud graduate of Mercy Hospital.

She served as a nurse and nursing supervisor for many years at Market Square as well as hospitals from Maine to Rhode Island. She and her husband also owned and operated Lobsterland Restaurant in Poland through the 1960s. She was married 45 years to Rexford Waite of Norway. He died in 1989.

She leaves two sons, Reg Waite of Dorchester, Mass., and Rex and Martha Waite, of Norway; as well as a loving family of brothers and sisters, who honor her life of care and devotion.
