Lewiston – Therese G. Lemieux, 78, of Brunswick, formerly of Lewiston, died Tuesday, July 10, after a long illness.

She was born in Lewiston on Oct. 10, 1928, the daughter of Alfrene and Anaise (Landry) Loubier. She was employed in the local shoe industry as a cementer. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality at St. Peter and Paul Parish.

She is survived by her companion of 13 years, Leo Lemieux of Brunswick; one daughter, Katherine Lessard of Lewiston; one son, Albert J. Lessard Jr. of Lewiston; one sister, Jeanne Robert of Lewiston; one granddaughter, Lisa Bussiere; two great-grandchildren, Casey Sarrazin and Brett DeLawter.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Gerard Loubier.
