BIDDEFORD – Gloria (Glass) Stickney, 87, died on Saturday, April 15, at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.

She was born in Rochester, N.H., on May 16, 1918, the daughter of Eugene and Lena Glass.

Gloria was educated in Greensboro, N.C., schools.

She was a very active member of the United Baptist Church in Saco, where she served as a deaconess and was a member of the Fidelis Class.

Gloria had an antiques business in Arundel. She was a member of the Sea Coaster and E&I Union.

She was a former resident of the Wardwell Home in Saco and Pine Point Nursing Care Facility.

She is survived by her children, Sandra Bartlett of Waterboro, Ralph Stickney Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Saco, Linda LeClair and her husband, Ray, of Poland, Gene Stickney and his wife, Alice, of East Lyme Conn., and Craig Stickney and his wife, Pat, of Sarasota Springs N.Y.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Gloria was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Stickney Sr.
