LEWISTON – Beatrice E. Gagnon 90, formerly of Grove Street died Sunday, Jan. 8, at Marshwood Health Care and Rehabilitation Center where she lived for the past 7 years.

Born in Presque Isle, April 5, 1915, a daughter of Peter and Laura Caron Michaud she received her GED from Lewiston High School. She was married to Gerard Gagnon, who died May 26, 1986.

Mrs. Gagnon was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in Sabattus, a former member of the Knights of Columbus Council 106 Lewiston Auxiliary and 4th Degree Wives. She worked as an LPN at CMMC for 20 years, retiring in 1977.

She is survived by a daughter, Anita Jones and her husband, Robert W., of California.; a son, George Gagnon Sr. and his wife, Marguerite, of Lewiston; a foster son, Joseph Langlais and his wife, Joanna, of Washington; eight grandchildren, Robert Jones Jr., John, Brian and Keith Jones, Debra Edgecomb, Sandra Farrington, George Gagnon Jr. and Gregory Gagnon; foster granddaughter, Debra; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Evelyn Levasseur, Lilian Fournier, Dorothy Bolduc and Lena Aube.
