GARDINER – Jeffrey R. Rouillard, 61, of Turner, died suddenly at his work site Tuesday, Jan. 3.

He was born in Biddeford on Nov. 12, 1944, the son of Antonio and Yvonne Rouillard of Lewiston.

He married his loving wife, Georgette (Dube), in 1963 at Holy Cross Church in Lewiston.

After graduating from Lewiston High School, he spent 20 years working as a meat cutter for First National and Foodtown. In the early 80s, he “retired” his knives for a hammer and saw. As a carpenter, he started his first and only business, “JR’s Home Improvements.”

He raised three children at 304 Old Greene Road in Lewiston for 24 years before relocating to Turner.

Survivors include his loving wife, Georgette; three children, James and wife, Jean, of Farmington, Joel and wife, Tammy, of New Gloucester, Elaine, of New York, N.Y.; grandchildren Jordan, Ryan, Connor; and stepgrandchildren, Kaylee and Christopher.
