BRYANT POND – Dorothy Alica Sheffield, 71, of Bryant Pond, formerly of South Boston, died Tuesday, Dec. 27.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Sheffield; her daughters and their spouses, Carol Ann Gifford and Donna Musto of Maine, and Cynthia of Boston; her sons and their spouses, Ernest of Arizona, Robert, William and John Sheffield of Boston, and Gerald of Florida. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many brothers and sisters.
