AUBURN – Laurier “Larry” Veilleux, 77, of Turner, died Nov. 28 at the Hospice House in Auburn.
Born in Lewiston, May 12, 1928, he was the son of the late Pierre and Marie (Poulin) Veilleux. He was educated in local schools.
He was employed as a truck driver for Lewiston Crushed Stone, Dragon Product Co., Cianbro Corp., and W.E. Cloutier Co.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Veilleux of Clover Health Care; stepson, Robert Pratt of Lyman, N.H.; stepdaughters, Charlotte Pratt of Gassville, Ariz., and Ruth Shaw of New London, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the youngest of 19 children and was predeceased by seven sisters and 11 brothers.
