LEWISTON — Principal consumer credit examiner David Leach will be the featured guest speaker at the LA Rotary meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Ramada Inn.
Leach has 29 years of experience in bank and non-bank credit regulation with the Maine Department of Professional and Financial Regulation, the past 16 years of which were with the Maine Bureau of Consumer Credit Protection. He spent 15 years as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maine at Augusta and is the author or co-author of 15 state of Maine consumer protection publications. He works with the Bureau of Consumer Credit Protection in Augusta.
No reservation is required to attend. Lunch is available for $10 in the Fusion Restaurant at the Ramada, 490 Pleasant St.
