MONMOUTH — The Henry L. Cottrell School is taking registrations for its programs for 4-year-olds.
The registration will be held form 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 28, and Monday, May 1, at the school. Parents and guardians should contact the school to set up appointments during that time.
The Cottrell School, in collaboration with Southern Kennebec Child Development Corp. Headstart will provide a 4-year-old program during the morning in the fall for children who meet established criteria and a pre-school program in the afternoon.
Both programs will be located at the Henry L. Cottrell School. Children must be 4 years of age on or before Oct. 15, 2017. A copy of the child’s original birth certificate, Social Security card and health record, including immunization dates, will be needed.
The child will be checked for height, weight, vision and hearing, as well as a brief screening with a Cottrell staff member.
