FARMINGTON — Police said three people were arrested Sunday following a domestic incident involving a broom and a gun at a home on Sewall Lane.
Sean M. McGuire, 22, of Sewall Lane was charged with terrorizing with a pistol. His guests, Arrin Kay, 23, of Farmington and Emily-Anne Bacon, 20, of Waterboro, were charged with criminal threatening and domestic violence assault, respectively.
Police were called to the home at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Farmington officer Ryan Rosie said. The caller indicated someone was being assaulted with a broom and a gun was involved.
Kay made verbal threats and Bacon assaulted Kay, her boyfriend, with a broom, and McGuire brought out a pistol, Rosie said.
Kay had a head injury but was not taken to the hospital, Rosie said.
All were victims and assailants, said Bonnie Pomeroy, Farmington Police Department office manager.
They were taken to the Franklin County Detention Center. Bacon was released on $250 cash bail and McGuire on $300 cash bail, both on Sunday.
Kay remained in jail Monday.
