HARTFORD — Gloria Occhipinti Polson, born Nov. 8, 1929, of Elkton, Fla., and Hartford, died unexpectedly of natural causes on June 24 in Hartford.
She was born in East Boston, Mass., and attended and graduated from Girls’ Latin School in Boston.
She worked in the insurance field for many years at Liberty Mutual and retired when she married Robert Polson, who predeceased her in 2004.
She was an active member in the Catholic church, loved to watch and play tennis, enjoyed traveling and doting on her grandsons and family.
She is survived by her son, Tony Polson, his wife, Diane, and their two sons, David and Kyle. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
