AUBURN – Funeral services for Mrs. Briggs were held Tuesday morning at the East Auburn Baptist Church, with the Rev. Roger Cousineau officiating. Words of remembrance were expressed by Gracejean’s son-in-law, Warren Galway and her favorite hymn, “How Great Thou Art” was sung in her honor. Delegations from the Sun Journal as well as a delegation of teachers and former teachers of Edward Little High School were also in attendance. The Rev. Cousineau recited graveside committal prayers at the interment at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. A reception of fellowship followed the services at East Auburn Baptist Church. Pallbearers were Ryan, Nathan and Warren Galway, and Mark Peillet, as well as Neil and Brent James. Arrangements by the family-owned Dillingham and Son Memorial Chapel & Tribute Center.
