AUGUSTA – Norman E. Donnell Sr., 81, of Leeds, died peacefully Saturday, May 28, at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility – Graybirch, after a long illness.

He retired from International Paper in the mid 1980s. He enjoyed camping, motorcycling, horseshoes, cribbage, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ione; sons, Walter Donnell and wife, Nancy, of Turner and Norman Donnell Jr., of Oklahoma; daughters, Linda Robinson and husband, Robert, of Pittston and Vickey Gray of Farmingdale; several sisters and a brother; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
