NORWAY – Penny A. Stearns, 54, formerly of 10 Tanglewood Drive, Lewiston, passed away Thursday, May 26, at the Norway Nursing Home, following a longterm illness.

Born in Norway on June 27, 1950, she was the daughter of Robert and Lillian Patton Stearns.

She was a happy homemaker and loved to be an at-home mom.

She is survived by her loving son, Richard Abbey Jr. of Lewiston; a loving daughter, Melissa and her husband, Daniel Theriault, and two loving grandchildren, Shayla Pontbriand and Hallie Theriault, all of Lewiston; loving sister, Dianna and husband, Gary Churchill, of South Paris, loving sister, Vicky and husband, Brian Durgin, of Norway, and a loving brother, Dale Stearns of Norway.

She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Richard Abbey Sr.; and one infant son, Corey Ogden.
