Maine hip-hop artist Spose headlines The Acts of Kindness Festival to benefit Special Olympics, Saturday, Aug. 26, from 1 to 10 p.m. at the Oxford Fairgrounds 68 Pottle Road, Oxford. The event also will feature eight area bands. Acts and performance times are: 1 p.m. The Wayback Machine; 2 p.m. Dean Richardson; 3 p.m. Big G and Rhino; 4 p.m. Craig Rivas; 5 p.m. Moticon; 6 p.m. Phil Fortier; 7 p.m. Fedoras and 8 p.m. Continental Shakedown and 9 p.m., Spose. Tickets, $10, are available at Daddy O’s restaurant, 1570 Main St., Oxford; Norway-Paris Soft Serve, 65 Main St., Paris, and Applesbee’s at 1591 Main St., Oxford.
