OXFORD — New Ventures Maine is offering a free workshop, “Clean Up Your Credit,” for people of all ages. The workshop will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Fedcap Office, 1570 Main St.
The free two-hour workshop aims to provide a better grasp of credit. It will explore the basics of credit, ways to reduce debt, how to build credit and take a look at credit reports and credit scores.
New Ventures Maine is a statewide nonprofit organization committed to improving the economic lives of men, women and families through tuition-free workshops and one-on-one coaching in four areas: building careers, starting and growing businesses, managing money and becoming a leader.
