CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Valmore L. Drouin, 83, originally of Lewiston, now of Coral Springs, Fla., passed away peacefully at Coral Springs University Hospice with his son and his “adopted” daughter at his side on Friday, Feb. 11.

He was born in Somersworth, N.H., July 18, 1921, and was a graduate of Lewiston High School. He graduated from the Bentley College of Business.

He was married to Mignonne Roy Drouin of Lewiston. He retired in 1989, having had several successful careers at General Electric, Lockheed-Martin, and the state of Florida.

He is survived by his son, Douglas and his wife, Dianna Yowell, both of Coral Springs, Fla.; and his three sisters, Gertrude and her husband, Dominique Plourde, of Lewiston, Bernice LaChance of Connecticut, and Margarate Renaud of California.

He was predeceased by his parents, George and Aurore Drouin; and by his loving wife, Mignonne Roy Drouin. He will be sadly missed by friends and family, butespecially, his son and daughter.
