GARDINER – Funeral services for Romeo Jay Bourget were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at the Christ Episcopal Church, 2 Dresden Ave., Gardiner. Father Bruce Alexander officiated at the services. “Amazing Grace” and “Going Home” were played by the Kora Temple Highlander Bagpipe Unit Members, and the organist was Jody Clark. The eulogy was read by his sons, Larry and Mitch. His daughter-in-law, Lisa, read a letter that was written by Judy, to Romeo. She also read the poem “The Broken Chain.” Hymns were: “Jerusalem My Happy Home” and “Lord of All Hopefulness.” Interment will be in the spring at Litchfield Plains Cemetery, Litchfield. The Litchfield Eastern Star and the Masons provided a luncheon after the service. Arrangements by Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home, 707 Main Street, Monmouth, Maine.
