1914 – 2004

BRUNSWICK – Kenneth F. Harriman, 89, of Dionne Commons, died Friday, Jan. 30, at Mid Coast Senior Health Care Center, Brunswick.

He was born in Millbridge on June 10, 1914, the son of Arthur R. and Ruth A. Fickett Harriman. He attended Lisbon Falls schools and attended Lisbon High School.

He married Fannie E. Hassen Brewer on July 2, 1966, in Freeport.

Mr. Harriman was a farmer in Lisbon Falls and was employed at U.S. Gypsum. He later was employed at Bath Iron Works for 20 years, retiring in 1975 due to ill health.

Mr. & Mrs. Harriman lived in Freeport from many years before moving to Brunswick in 1984.

Besides his wife of Brunswick, he is survived by three sons, Robert S. Harriman, and Gary L. Harriman, both of Lisbon Falls, and Richard L. Harriman of Florida; three daughters, Susan E. Foster and Trudy A. Strait, both of Lisbon Falls, and Tina A. Chase of Freeport; two step sons, Robert E. Curit of Freeport, and Herbert E. Brewer Sr. of Freeport; four step daughters, Esther I. Norton of Lisbon Falls, Rita C. Dobson of Pownal, Kimbalee S. Hansen of Norway, and Martha J. Liscomb of Freeport; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
