1916 – 2003

LEWISTON – Reseda Boisse, 87, of Elm St., Biddeford, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, at d’Youville Pavilion.

Born at St. Robert, P.Q., Canada, Nov. 2, 1916, a daughter of Louis and Alma Nadeau Lapointe, she was educated there. She was a graduate of St. Pierre High School and graduated with a teaching degree in 1933. She taught school for six years before coming to Biddeford.

On Oct. 7, 1939, she married Jean-Marie Boisse at Notre Dame Church in Sorel, P.Q. Mrs. Boisse was a member of St. Andre’s Church and enjoyed cooking, playing cards and bingo.

Survivors include one son, Guy F. Boisse and his wife, Monique of Lewiston; one grandson, Daniel Boisse of Lewiston; one granddaughter, Debra Stevens of Round Rock, Texas; two great-granddaughters, Daniel Boisse of Lewiston and April Stevens of Round Rock, Texas; one stepgranddaughter, Lisa Demers of Biddeford; five stepgrandchildren, Joel and Lindsay Marchand of Lewiston, Alicia Lemire of Sanford and Nicholas and Dillan Becker of Williamstown, Ky.; two stepgreat-great-grandchildren, Nathan MacKenzie Lemire and Danielle Lynn Cole of Sanford; one brother, Herve Lapointe of Sorel, P.Q.; one brother-in- law, Paul Emile Boisse and his wife, Rita of Biddeford; and many nieces and nephews

She was predeceased by her husband, Jean-Marie Boisse on April 25, 1985; and by five sisters, Albina Desrosiers, Eva Larochelle, Lauretta Chapdelaine, Florida Cournoyer and Louisa Lussier.
