1919 – 2003
LEWISTON – George R. Dymond, 84, of Mountview Terrace, died Tuesday, Aug. 12, at his residence.
He was born in Adel, Iowa, Jan. 20, 1919, the son of James Floyd and Mota Lulu McKinney Dymond. He was married April 5, 1939 to Virginia Howell who predeceased him July 3, 2001.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and baseball and was an avid softball player until the age of 75.
He is survived by a daughter, Sally Mitchell and husband Ray of Longmont, Colo.; two sons, Jim Dymond and wife Irene of Lewiston and Jeff Dymond and wife Jan of Atlanta, Ga.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Mayhew of Nevada.
