LEWISTON — A single goal in each half was sufficient to allow Lewiston to secure a 2-0 late-season girls’ soccer victory over Mt. Ararat.

Megan St. Cyr converted a pass from Amy Sperandio to put the Blue Devils (2-5-4) on the board. Kajha Gagnon scored on a direct free kick at the 15:44 mark to complete the scoring.

Gemma Landry made six shots for Lewiston to preserve the shutout, while Zoey Stilphen turned aside nine shots between the posts for Mt. Ararat (3-5-1).

Carrabec 4, Dirigo 0

DIXFIELD — Bailey Dunphy netted a pair of goals on Friday to propel Carrabec to a 4-0 late-season girls’ soccer victory over Dirigo.

Katrina Mason also tallied for the Cobras (5-4-2) in a solid performance.

Kelsey Creamer needed only a single save to notch the shutout, while Katie Morse deflected six shots for the Cougars (0-11-1).

Monmouth 7, Telstar 0

BETHEL — Tia Day registered a hat trick to lead Monmouth to a 7-0 romp over Telstar in more late-season girls’ soccer action on Friday.

Emily Grandahl, Natalie Grandahl, Audrey Fletcher and Allison Burnham also tallied for the Mustangs (10-1) to complete the scoring.

Destiny Clough made five saves to notch the shutout, while Luci Rothwell turned aside 22 shots between the posts for Telstar (1-10-1).

Lewiston 5, Erskine 0

LEWISTON — Meagan Gosselin led a group of five players to record goals on Friday as Lewiston hustled to a 5-0 late-season field hockey victory over Erskine.

Erin Lachance, Katrina Jadocan, Grace Dumond and Lindsay Morin also talalied for the Blue Devils to complete the scoring. Lachance also made a pair of assists, while Dumond added one.

Ashley Cronkhite only needed a pair of saves to earn the shutout.

Lucy Allen turned aside six shots for Erskine.

St. Dom’s 12, Waynflete 0

PORTLAND — Hannah Trottier-Braun put five goals on the board Friday as St. Dom’s field hockey dream season continued, this time enjoying a 12-0 romp over Waynflete.

Callie Samspon contributed for the undefeated Saints (13-0) with a hat trick, while Paige Cote added two goals and six assists. Single goals from Kylie Leavitt and Hannah Cote completed the scoring.

Abby Slonina didn’t need a single save to earn the shutout.

Chanette Dean deflected 13 shots for winless Waynflete (0-13).

Boothbay 10, Telstar 0

BETHEL — Five goals in each half was the key to success for Boothbay as they rolled to a 10-0 late-season field hockey win over Telstar.

Sydney Meader led the Seagulls (12-1) with five goals, while Chloe Arsenault added two. Single tallies from Page Brown, Sydney Mercier and Cortney Meader completed the story.

Emily Ameral needed only a single save to earn the shutout, while Perry Morton turned aside an impressive 25 shots for the winless Rebels (0-13).

Oak Hill 4, Lisbon 2

LISBON — Desirae Dumais registered a hat trick on Friday to propel Oak Hill to a 4-2 field hockey victory over Lisbon.

Zoe Buteau also tallied for the Raiders, while Savannah Czechalski and Sydney Plourde each scored for the Greyhounds.

Makenzie Thibeault made five saves for Oak Hill.

Mikaylia Harnden deflected eight shots for Lisbon.

Boys’ soccer

Leavitt 3, Medomak Valley 1

TURNER — Leavitt built a three-goal advantage in the first half and hung on to record a 3-1 win over Medomak Valley in a late-season boys’ soccer tilt Friday.

Garrett Addison led the Hornets (6-3-3) with two goals, while Brian Hewitt also tallied.

Ben Hutchins turned aside five shots for Leavitt.

Oak Hill 1, Lisbon 1 (2OT)

LISBON — After a scoreless first half, the Oak Hill and Lisbon boys’ soccer squads each managed to score once in the second half yet failed to tally in overtime as the two accepted a 1-1 tie on Friday afternoon.

Colby Leighton scored for the Raiders (4-5-2) with 12:43 left in regulation, while Nick Austin found the net for the Greyhounds (6-3-2) with 6:43 left to play.

Cole Whitten made 12 saves for Oak Hill, while Jonah Sautter deflected five shots between the posts for Lisbon.
