HANFORD,Calif. – Naomi D. Welch, 90, died April 3, 2003, in Hanford, Calif. She was formerly a longtime resident of Mexico and Auburn.
Born in Buckfield, on May 4, 1913, she was the daughter of Stanley and Lucy (Foss) DeCoster.
She lived in Mexico all of her married life and worked as a sales clerk for W.T. Grant Stores. She moved to Hanford 10 years ago to be near her daughters. She was a former member of the Eastern Star Lodge in Rumford.
Survivors include a son Walter Welch and his wife Judy of Kettering, Ohio; a daughter, Ellie Wagner of Hanford, Calif.; a brother Ellwood DeCoster of Massachusetts; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her husband Robert Welch in 1961, by a daughter Elizabeth Welch in 1993 and a sister Nattie Norton.
