1919 – 2003
LEWISTON – Cecile Y. Dufresne, 84, of Fulton Street, Auburn, died Tuesday, May 20, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Lewiston, Jan. 28, 1919, a daughter of Elude and Marguerite Gardner Michaud. She was educated in Auburn schools.
On May 6, 1939 she married Rodolphe L. Dufresne and he died Oct. 1, 1990. She was better known in the clothing industry, working at Cortell’s, Star and Benoits.
She is survived by a daughter, Connie Richard and her husband, Albert of Lewiston; three sons, Gerard and his wife, Sharon of Lady Lake, Fla., Robert and his wife, Germaine of Sun City Center, Fla., and Marc and his wife, Sue of Lincoln; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dora Nadeau of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by a sister, Yvonne Maillet.
