BRUNSWICK – Estelle A. Collins, 84, of Congress Avenue, Bath, died Wednesday, May 5, at Mid Coast Hospital.

She was born in Manchester, N.H., on Nov. 27, 1919, a daughter of Casimer and Alma Demanche Marcotte. She graduated from Lewiston High School and Acme Business College.

In 1944, she married Harry S. Collins at St. Mary’s Church in Bath and they made their home here.

Mrs. Collins worked in the textile mills in Lewiston and in the paint department of Bath Iron Works during World War II. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, walking, camping, and traveling to New York and Canada.

Surviving are her daughter, Sylvia Cloutier of Blythe, California; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1983; and two daughters, Sheila L. Collins in 1956, and Harriet F. Tyner in 1999.
