LEWISTON – Adrienne D. Normand, 90, of 102 Campus Ave. and formerly of 10 Libby Ave., Lewiston, died Sunday evening, April 11, at d’Youville Pavilion, following a long illness.
Born in Lewiston, May 14, 1913, the daughter of Alfred and Rose Anna (Beaudoin) Desjardins, she had been a resident of this community all of her life.
She was a dressmaker and homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne of Holy Family Church and a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church.
She was the widow of Wilbur Normand, whom she married on June 22, 1942 and who died on Nov. 29, 1981.
Survivors include one daughter, Constance Larochelle of Waterville; one son, Paul Normand and his wife, Jean Ann of Reading, Pa.; one special daughter-in-law, Constance Normand of Lewiston; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Yvette Desjardins of Lewiston; one brother-in-law, Marcel Gagnon of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sons, Richard Normand Dec. 15, 1998 and Roger Normand June of 2003; and four brothers, Raymond, Marcel, Robert and Adrien Desjardins.
