Since the changes of selectmen in Hartford, I feel there is much confusion. How did signing a warrant for a special election become an oversight? That simple act, or lack of action, makes me concerned.
Sending an election date change to the voters list is not serving all Hartford residents. I left that special meeting not knowing of any definite solution to the problem of notification.
People need to be watchful of town politics, such as the drastic changes that have occurred in the short time of the new board of selectmen.
Because of that, I endorse Dave Bowen for selectman at the election Aug. 5. He has years of experience and does well for the town. He is impartial and does not support any self-serving group.
With Dave Bowen as selectman, Hartford residents will not be confused when they leave a meeting.
