My vehicle ran out of gasoline recently on Maple Street in Mechanic Falls and a gentleman offered to help me.
After he came back with gas, he asked me where I was going to get more. He followed me to a station and pumped in and paid for $50 worth of the best grade of gas. He gave me the five gallons from the can, plus the pumped gas – that would have cost at least $70 total. He was a stranger to me.
There are some good people around us, and I thank him.
