I agree with Peter Hart (Sun Journal, April 25).
But if Barack Obama does lose the nomination to Hillary Clinton, I think it would be a good idea to support a third-party candidate in November, otherwise the nation has to put up with same-old, same-old, until climate change, or armageddon, fixes the problems. It doesn’t appear voters will.
It’s too bad if Obama loses, because he is the better Democrat to oppose John McCain, because he is so different. Forget on-the-job training, Obama has been getting it on the campaign trail.
I don’t get the elitist thing, and the Rev. Jeremiah Wright explained that situation good enough.
I say, give the guy a try and see what he can do.
I’d rather have a young idealist, even if inexperienced, than another corrupt politician.
