Being a resident of New Gloucester, part of Maine House District 105, I am enthusiastic about introducing an eminently qualified candidate for state representative: David Van Wie. He plans to visit as many voters in the district as possible, canvassing Durham and the Lisbon Falls downtown area.

As director of the Maine Bureau of Land and Water Quality from 1999-2003, Van Wie frequently testified before the Legislature on issues related to protecting water quality, earning a 90 percent success rate in the passage of bills for which he advocated. He also possesses a wealth of experience in the private sector as a consultant for businesses and governmental agencies.

He is a Dartmouth College graduate and has been an active volunteer in the New Gloucester area for 20 years, having served on the MSAD 15 School Board and the Pineland YMCA Board of Directors.

Van Wie offers the complete package.
