Five years ago, Saddam Hussein was building palaces that he and his sons would never occupy.

Today, President Bush has spent $592 million of our tax dollars building an embassy in Baghdad that may never be occupied by anything other than sewer rats, and fought over for ownership by all the warring factions in Iraq.

The spirits of our 3,500 brave men and women in uniform will guard that useless fortress, as are the spirits of the 58,000 brave men and women who guard over the doomed and abandoned embassy in Saigon, South Vietnam.

We will lose 500 more of our best in the next four months. These are our sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters and friends.

To the president, who I call King George, the fallen are only known as the “surge” for his doomed legacy.

What can be done to stop the madness?

I’m just one small voice, reaching out to sign a petition to get rid of the incompetence we have in our government.

Let’s get serious. Let’s get America great again. Let’s get rid of “King George” and his “Vice King,” Vice President Dick Cheney before any other young Americans lose their lives in a civil war we should not be a party to.
