OK, enough is enough.

Yes, I am a smoker, and I do not have any plans to quit. Why is it that I am an object for attack?

Why not start taxing the alcohol? How many alcoholics are driving drunk, or receiving disability benefits because they have a drinking problem? Start taxing their habit.

At least, when I am smoking, I don’t run the risk of killing someone when I drive. I don’t have to collect any disability checks because I smoke. I don’t get angry and cause domestic violance when I smoke.

Just because I choose to keep my one bad habit, why do I need to pay more for taxes? I am only hurting myself, and nobody else.

I think people who choose to smoke will continue to do so, and find other alternatives to this tax.

I also think the govenor needs to start cutting some of the useless positions in the State House. How many people does it take to do one job? There is real waste going on right in the State House. State officials should start cutting and start saving in Augusta.

Leave me alone.
