DURHAM — Voters will decide Tuesday on a six-month moratorium on retail recreational marijuana establishments and social clubs.
The ordinance would include stores, cultivation facilities, product manufacturing facilities, testing facilities or any development associated with marijuana.
The ordinance will not limit the privileges or rights afforded by the Maine Medical Use of Marijuana Act to qualifying patients, primary caregivers or registered dispensaries.
If passed, the moratorium would be in effect for 180 days, unless it is extended or revised.
Voting will be held at the Durham Town Office from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
